Undergraduate John Emory Morris Research Fund

Program Description:
The John Emory Morris Undergraduate Research Fund supports a full time undergraduate summer research experience in the laboratory of a member of the faculty of the UW Carbone Cancer Center. Students who show academic promise and have a career goal of research and/or medical practice in cancer or other disease processes are invited to apply.

Quick Facts:
·         Award amount: $5,000
·         Eligibility: Undergraduate students must be enrolled as full time students in the semesters before and after the award (Spring and Fall 2018).

Deadline: March 31, 2018

·         Submit an application form in the Pilot Program Application website. Students can log in using a UW NetID to complete and submit an application: https://uwccc-pilotprogram.smapply.org/. Applicants must submit the following:

o   Application form

o   Resume

o   Statement of interest (max 1 page)

o   Nomination letter from UWCCC mentor

·         Review the RFP for full program details.
